Weeds
“Weeds” is a tale from the margins of the horticultural world.
In this work I was accompanied by a quote: “Weeds do not exist, as a matter of fact. Every single plant plays its own role in the natural world. There are wild herbs, culinary herbs and spices, medicinal plants (…) The notion of a ‘weed,’ however, is nothing but an egoistic judgement of the value of plants made by a human being.” (Marie-Luise Kreuter, “Ogród w zgodzie z naturą”)
I wanted to bring out the beauty and diversity of this invisible world.
